What does retrograde mean? This is when the planet appears to have stopped and then temporarily reverses its regular movement through the sky. The planet then goes retrograde/backwards. After a certain period, each planet is different time length, the planet then appears to stop and reverse its movement through the sky once again. Then it goes direct and is back on its normal cyclic path through the sky. Somethings that can happen when in retrograde with this planet are missed appointments, computer problems, mail gets returned, things get lost in the mail and things just get lost, problems with all transportation, communications are down - including verbal. This is a time not to sign contracts or to start new projects, jobs, ideas, etc. You might run into someone from the past, usually to clear unresolved issues. This is a particularly suitable time to reflect inward and do clearing work. Since this time things slow - by removing the old to make way for the new.
