Mercury will be in retrograde
from January 28th through February 18th in Aquarius
During this time, Mercury encourages us to reflect and renewal within all of us this will all be related were the astrological

There are so many myths or fear factors regarding mercury in retrograde. In this issue I will try to make things more clear for
all of the readers.
A retrograde is when the planet moves backwards or is still rather than moving forward. When things are still or not moving
in correct motion things do not progress in our lives as the way the should or the norm.
It is not a time for:
If you know when the retrograde period happens, it gives you a heads up on what to look out for. It gives you an idea what
to do in your plans and daily endeavors. Attending to own personal work is always valuable time spent. Once we have
properly attended to ourselves we then can shower the Universe with the gifts that we have acquired through our individual
commitments to self. Thus, this first Mercury Retrograde Period of 2008 asks the collective to reassess communications in
the areas of altruism and our sense of brotherhood.

house was Aquarius in at that time. The retrograde will affect and have you reflect on that area that the house associates
with. Aquarius in the chart is marking where you ultimately draw your originality from. It will also be a New Moon in
Aquarius on the 6th of February - a time to take this energy and equally allow your emotions to be reborn within this area of

During this time, especially since it is in the sign of Aquarius, which is inventive and rebellious outlets, it would be
recommended to meditate. By meditation you can allow the achievement of the positive results of this time period to

Those with Aquarius prominent in their charts will be especially prone to such introspection. There is little choice but to
reconsider our personal views and opinions about life. We receive, however, an opportunity to gain insight into our own ego.
It also generates an unwarranted focus on originality and independence, love of intellectual freedom and the inclination to
repudiate social conventions. This is a fixed sign time period so people may be more inclined to be more stubborn and
opinionated than the normal. Also, they can attempt to pressure others into sharing their attitudes. In this sign you may
notice disloyalty to friends, criticizing or even slander if they can not benefit the person. This may happen within our own self
or seen in others.

The key issue here is one of focus. Mercury's retro phase tends to bring unforeseen changes and blockages, but the
aggravation and frustration that many of us experience during these periods is often due to our own inability to roll with the
punches. Is this due to our ego-fixation? Mercury sets out to restructure our thinking processes and for many of us this is
painful and frustrating. Moreover, these experiences reveal flaws in our internal organization as well as our external
planning, which can make us feel foolish and inadequate.
Mercury retrograde, like any cosmic aspect, affects people differently, depending on where it hits their personal charts. Some
people actually prosper under a retro Mercury, especially if Mercury is retrograde but otherwise well-aspect in their birth
charts. It is also a time when matters begun under a previous retro period will come to fruition, or completion as the case
may be. Firm decisions that have been previously made when Mercury is traveling normally through the zodiac may be
implemented or finalized while Mercury is retrograde without too much worry, for experience shows that this can be done
without undue problems arising.

time. As yourself - “what can or needs to be changed, healed or revamping in my life concerning, career, relationships,
daily activities etc?” - After Mercury goes direct then it is time to start those projects and do the things that you have planned and reviewed
during this time. - People from the past you may hear from or may see - usually those that you wish or care not too.
