The crown chakra which is located on the very top of the head. To describe the correct placement of the crown you want to
visualize a round circle on the very top of the head. Or you can imagine having placed a small saucer plate on your top of
your head. When you visualize the crown you do not see it go past / down to the forehead. The color is usually in the tones
of violet to very light. Some that view the crown may see the color white but it is mostly a very light violet. The element
that governs over the crown is the Divine /universe. It is considered the 7th chakra. Also called Sahasrara chakra.
The belief system in the crown is knowing the self as an individual versus the self as a member of the whole. At this energy
point there are no real beliefs but only a state of acceptance. This is all part of spirituality that the crown governs over. The
crown gives us the feelings of completion and harmony. With here we find the ultimate feelings of achievement. When this
is freely open and starting to develop we will start to take more care of our physical, emotional and spiritual self.
The crown chakra should always stay open at all times. It is our connection to the universe/spirit. When you close the other
chakras for protection make sure that the crown never shuts down.
Body and organs that are governed over by the crown are: pineal gland, nervous system, the functions of the brain and the
entire skeletal system.
In the crown we find the qualities of enlightenment, perfection of the mind, body and Spirit. The feelings of being one with
all and knowing our own part in this big picture of life. It is truly understanding our path and our purpose why we need to be
here.
When the crown chakra is developed or starting to become we will find our true connection with the universe and also our
purpose here on earth. This is were the higher self is. Which is also called the soul. Most of the communications that we do
receive in are from our own higher self. The higher self knows everything from past, present and future events for us. It is
our pure essence of our being. When this chakra is developed on an individual you will see (if you see auras) a risen crown or
as my friend calls it a cone head (like on Saturday night live show years back). This indicates that some one has developed it,
unfortunately not all do so it is sometimes not common to see. Because most individuals are too consumed with the
material world than spirituality. It develops by meditation, communication and prayer work. But mostly those have truly
raised their vibration and are in communication with the universe. This would be truly something you would want to see in
someone that says that they are clairvoyant, psychic and etc. Also, in the crown we find information about our past lives
which are also known as the Akashic records.
How do you know that you have crown chakra blocks? Blocks within can be cause by our own emotions and how we live our
lives. It is not always someone else doing to us that causes blocks. It is our own actions and allowing that make blocks within.
Some of the signs that the crown chakra is blocked are:
A persons that has blocks in the crown are usually have one or more of the following: (please remember the blocks do not
make the person do this - the do these actions on their own.)
What can happen with a blocked - shut down crown chakra? First signs that there is a blockage would be the feelings of off
balance. Remember this is a major chi channel that must stay open to channel in our life force energy properly. When we
shut this chakra down we are blocking the current / flow of proper chi energy. So the feelings of being off balance starts to
happen. When I do readings or healings on individuals I check the flow that is coming out of each hands or feet to feel if it is
balanced and how much energy is passing through. When the flow is not very strong the energy is blocked in some way.
The individual will have feelings at the beginning of the blockage of off balance and possible walking into things. Usually on
one side more than another. Then feelings of stuck or lost in the world. Feeling physical aches and pains (usually when this is
not the normal thing for the person).
The next phase of the blocks will be questioning the path and purpose - why they are here. Also, is the job they are doing the
right one - when in actuality it is the correct one. Major depression will set in and possibility of some psychological problems
also will be present. It will start affecting the nervous system of the body and might present itself as Fibromyalgia and other
diseases and disorders.
When the blocks are major will also come thoughts of suicide and possible cancers and major diseases.
Some ways to keep the chakra clear and open.
Three major things that can be done are prayer work / communication with spirit, meditation and grounding your energies.
When we do any form of prayer work we are working with the crown chakra. The crown is our connection with the universe /
spiritual connection. Now if you do not do prayer work put communicate with the higher power or who every you consider
the higher power is the same - all depends on your belief system. The crown is open and connected to give and receive
information. This will allow for the free flow of energy. The person is communicating and is showing faith, trust in spirit for
help and assistance.
Another way is through meditation. This allows for the connection to be open and flowing through. Allowing for guidance to
enter and peace to be within.
The last is grounding your energies. A person that is grounded is less likely to be affected by negative energies from the
earth plane and other planes. It makes the person balanced and present. It clears away negative energies that you pick up
from your surroundings and that are within.

Healing must take place in order for this chakra to clear. That is also true for all of the chakras within our bodies. To open and
start the healing process some things can be done. Grounding your energies everyday. Also, by placing your hands on the top
of your head and image your hands opening a circle to the size of a saucer on the top of the head. This is the size of the crown
on the physical. Doing this once a day until the blocks are removed will help train the chakra from closing. If you do reiki or
any other form of energy work will help the healing processes. The most important thing for any healing to work is letting
go, releasing and getting past - moving on from what has blocked you.
